Joan Binstock joins Confluence board

Software provider Confluence Technologies has appointed Joan Binstock to its board of directors. The company is backed by Clearlake Capital and TA Associates. Binstock has more than three decades of experience in the asset management industry, and currently serves as a board member at Morgan Stanley Direct Lending Fund and Brown Brothers Harriman US Mutual Funds. She is also independent director and audit chair for KKR Real Estate Select Trust. Earlier in her career, Binstock was chief financial and operations officer and partner at financial services firm Lord, Abbett & Co, chief operating officer at Morgan Grenfell & Co and lead principal at EY. Commenting on her appointment, Binstock says: "Confluence has a strong reputation in the industry for providing innovative and proven solutions that help customers in the asset management industry navigate regulatory compliance and make better investment decisions. I look forward to working with the team to continue to drive growth and success for the company." Mark Evans, CEO of Confluence, adds: “[Binstock’s] extensive experience in the asset management industry, across a broad set of asset classes and working with multiple technology providers, is invaluable as we continue to expand our solutions to better serve the investment management industry."
